Raves and Unlicensed Events in the Park

Over the summer there have been several raves and large parties in the park around the BMX/skate park running right though the night. They have caused distress and disturbance to our neighbours and caused damage to the park. This anti-social behaviour is completely unacceptable. Please call the police on 101 if you see an event of this kind being set up or if it is in progress. In an emergency you should call 999.

You can also report anti-social behaviour to the council’s Anti Social Behaviour Enforcement Team on 020 8489 1335.

Several of the park’s facilities were taken out of service by Haringey Council to prevent coronavirus from being passed between park users. On 22 July the playgrounds, outdoor gym, BMX/skate park and both sports courts were reopened.

After being closed for two months we were delighted to see the Markfield Park Café re-opened as a takeaway in late May. It is still only open for takeaways but you can enjoy these on the picnic tables nearby. But please do dispose of any litter in a bin (or take it home).
